Tom Berger and Eric Gotting Quoted in Bloomberg Law Article Regarding EPA’s Rescission of TSCA Inventory Corrections Policy
Keller and Heckman Partners Tom Berger and Eric Gotting were quoted in the Bloomberg Law article, “Chemical Makers Ask EPA to Fix, Not Drop, Corrections Policy (1).” This two-part article discusses concerns raised by the chemical industry regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recent announcement rescinding the Agency’s TSCA Inventory corrections policy that allowed companies to correct descriptions of Inventory-listed chemicals. That policy will no longer be in place as of April 26, 2022. During Keller and Heckman’s March 23, 2022, TSCA 30/30 webinar, Tom warned that “a host of enforcement and litigation issues may arise” if the Agency revokes the policy. Eric is quoted in the article as also noting that EPA provided little notice or opportunity to comment before rescinding the policy.
