Peter Craddock Authors EU Law Live Op-Ed Article on the Bindl Judgment

Keller and Heckman Partner Peter Craddock authored the EU Law Live op-ed article, “Data Protection Damages without Proof, courtesy of Shortcuts in legal reasoning (Case T-354/22, Bindl).” A “noteworthy judgment by any standard,” Peter explores the Bindl judgment of the EU General Court (which ordered the Commission to pay 400 EUR in damages for a transfer of an IP address to a US-based company) and what it means for data protection and data transfers.
