Keller and Heckman Elects New Partner and Names New Counsel for 2012

January 1, 2012 -- Keller and Heckman is proud to announce that Mitzi Ng Clark has been named Partner and Evangelia C. Pelonis has been promoted to Counsel in the Firm's Washington, DC office.

Mitzi Ng Clark assists domestic and international corporations in establishing a suitable regulatory status for products under the laws and regulations administered by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and other federal and state agencies. Ms. Clark also assists clients in compliance and good manufacturing practice issues relating to the manufacture of products and packaging. In addition, she counsels clients on a broad range of food-contact matters in other countries, including Canada, the European Union, the Pacific Rim, and Latin America. Ms. Clark received her B.A. from Stanford University, M.P.H. from Boston University, and J.D. from Temple University, Beasley School of Law.

Evangelia C. Pelonis focuses on all regulatory and compliance matters of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture relating to human food, animal feed, food additives and ingredients, and dietary supplements. Ms. Pelonis works with clients to achieve their marketing goals within the applicable legal frameworks. She counsels clients in all aspects of food development and marketing, from product formulation and manufacturing considerations to food labeling and advertising. Ms. Pelonis received her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from The Catholic University of America.
