Keller and Heckman Attorneys Quoted in Inside OSHA Article on Agency’s COVID-19 Enforcement Action
Keller and Heckman Partner Manesh Rath and Associate Taylor Johnson were quoted in the Inside OSHA article, “Attorneys Eye ‘Gravely Concerning’ OSHA COVID-19 Enforcement Push.” As outlined in Keller and Heckman’s February 16 OSHA 30/30 webinar, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently enacted an enforcement action against an automotive parts company citing that they violated their own policy for failure to enforce social distancing and mask mandates. According to Manesh, the Agency does not “have the authority or right to enforce a private corporate policy” to circumvent the Supreme Court’s recent decision to block OSHA’s emergency temporary standard for COVID-19 testing and vaccinations.
