Keller and Heckman Announces: Practical Food Law Seminar

Keller and Heckman’s Food and Drug attorneys will host their annual three-day seminar to provide members of the food industry with a comprehensive presentation of the applicable statutory and regulatory framework for foods including dietary supplements. The course will focus on food safety as well as labeling and advertising. The course will be held September 27-29, 2016 at Keller and Heckman’s offices in Washington, DC.

Program highlights include the latest developments on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), FDA's newly revised nutrition labeling regulations, strategies for surviving inspections, recall and enforcement issues, food safety concerns, testing issues, and import requirements. In addition, there will be a focus on advertising and promotion with a particular emphasis on the impact of consumer class action lawsuits, on regulatory and legislative policy governing labeling and advertising, challenging and defending competitive claims, and substantiating "Establishment Claims," as well as other issues in this arena.
