Herb Estreicher Quoted in Chemical Watch Article on EPA’s Potential Expansion of PFAS Definition
Keller and Heckman Partner Herb Estreicher was quoted in the Chemical Watch article, “U.S. EPA studying OECD’s PFAS definition to potentially expand its own.” The article discusses the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s review of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) definition of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in an effort to possibly expand the Agency’s own definition of the compounds. According to Herb, “the EPA working definition is broad enough. The EPA has selected a good cross-section of PFAS substances for testing under the PFAS testing strategy.”
