Herb Estreicher Quoted in Article on EU Required Authorization Uses for Chemicals

Keller and Heckman Partner Herb Estreicher was quoted in the Bloomberg Law article, “EU Commission Notifies WTO of Intent to Require Authorized Uses for Chemicals.” The article notes how the European Commission recently notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of its intent to add eight chemicals to REACH’s list of substances that must have their uses specifically authorized, an attorney said October 2.

WTO members have until November 17 to submit comments on the Commission’s notification, said Herb, who spoke during a chemical control law seminar Keller and Heckman held October 1-2.
