Just days before EPA released this proposal, an industry coalition petitioned EPA under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). The petition was signed by Herb, James, and David, and calls for EPA to overhaul its rules governing new-chemical reviews, arguing that administrative reforms rather than higher fees are key to addressing the program’s persistent backlog.
