David Fischer Quoted in Article on American Chemistry Council’s Diverse VP Choice
Keller and Heckman Counsel David Fischer was quoted in the Bloomberg Law article, “Chemistry Group’s VP Choice Signals Role of Diversity, Sciences.” The article discusses how Kimberly Wise White recently became Vice President of Regulatory and Technical Affairs at the American Chemistry Council (ACC), a rare example of a scientist and woman of color in a position of regulatory power within the chemical industry. The industry group represents the bulk of the U.S. chemical industry.
Ms. White has worked at the council for 10 years overseeing groups of companies that focused on chemical policies. Now she manages a staff of 17 attorneys and other professionals who help develop the council’s policy positions on issues such as energy, security, trade, accident prevention, climate change, and chemical management.
