Keller and Heckman Partner Craig Simpson was interviewed for the Law360 article, “Keller & Heckman Adds EU Food Pro To Brussels Office.” The article focuses on Craig’s notable career path counseling clients on food regulation for more than two decades in both the private and public sectors. Craig noted that his move to Keller and Heckman in June was because he was attracted to the firm’s status as a legal authority in cross-border food regulations. “Keller and Heckman has a predominant name in food and feed regulation and has specialized in this area since the firm started about 60 years ago,” said Craig.
He also added that another one of Keller and Heckman’s distinguishing strengths is the firm’s in-house scientific team, which can provide expert advice quickly. “Scientists working alongside lawyers is a very efficient combination,” commented Craig.
Craig told Law360 he joined Keller and Heckman to help well-known brands in human food and animal feed production navigate complex cross-border scientific compliance regulations. “There’s a specific authorization process products need to go through to be placed on the market in Europe,” said Craig. “We're helping clients with that.”
