Casey Lide Quoted in Broadband Breakfast Article on Legal Issues Electric Co-Ops May Face When Building Broadband Networks
Keller and Heckman Partner Casey Lide was quoted in the Broadband Breakfast article, “Electric Co-Ops Could Face Legal Challenges for Broadband Builds.” The article refers to a panel Casey participated in at Mountain Connect 2023.
Casey touched on electric co-ops not being universally comfortable with operating a broadband network – but in many other ways, he added, “electric cooperatives are perfectly positioned to address the requirements in the $42.5 billion Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment program.”
