Azim Chowdhury Quoted in Law360 Article on FDA’s Announcement to Remove Flavored ENDS from the Market

Keller and Heckman Partner Azim Chowdhury was interviewed for the Law360 article, “Vaping Industry Rips into FDA After Nearly 1M Products Pulled.” The article discusses the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) announcement that it is denying marketing authorization for millions of non-tobacco and non-menthol flavored  Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) that were subject to pending Premarket Tobacco Product Applications (PMTAs),  and the subsequent reaction from the ENDS industry. Industry stakeholders are especially frustrated by FDA’s lack of explanation regarding their denials, which has affected smaller businesses more than large corporations.
