Art Garrett to Present "Food Contamination Traceback/Traceforward: A Case Study"

Art Garrett will present "Food Contamination Traceback/Traceforward: A Case Study" on August 2, 2016 at the Foodservice Industry Management Association (FIRMA) Conference in Fullerton, CA. Art's presentation will examine how the traceback/traceforward activities performed by the FDA are used to identify the source of food contamination and to determine the scope of the food recall. This presentation follows a recent Hepatitis A Outbreak in the Western United States that was linked by the FDA/CDC to frozen pomegranate arils imported from Turkey. For more information, click here
