Toxics in Packaging
Florida restricts the use of lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium in packaging. Under the law, manufacturers and distributors may not sell or offer for sale or promotional purposes packages and packaging components containing these four substances if the total concentration is greater than 100 ppm by weight.
