On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, Keller and Heckman attorneys Alissa Jijon and Laura Venker presented a webinar to help companies understand the basic contours of "Made in the USA" claims, particularly as such claims are distinct from country of origin declarations. They discussed how companies may make appropriate "Made in the USA" claims based on requirements enforced by the Federal Trade Commission. They also discussed the more stringent requirements for "Made in the USA" claims under California law and provide practical guidelines on how companies can mitigate their regulatory and litigation risks in this area.
