Partner Tony Pavel to Present at the 2024 ASTA Regulatory Workshop

Keller and Heckman Partner Tony Pavel will present at the 2024 Regulatory Workshop, hosted by the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA), to be held in Washington, DC on September 24-25, 2024. Tony will speak on the topic, “The Future of Food Ingredient Regulation – Who’s Driving the Bus and Where is it Headed?” This session will discuss recent developments at the federal and state levels, which have the potential to create a patchwork of regulatory requirements in numerous states, undermining the predictable and clear federal framework. Attendees will learn what ingredient manufacturers can expect in terms of navigating the current regulatory environment for new and long-available ingredients, at a time when state legislatures are working to impose additional regulatory hurdles with the encouragement and support of an array of NGOs.
