Partner Sean Stokes to Present at the IAMU 2024 Broadband Conference and Expo

Keller and Heckman Partner Sean Stokes will serve as a panelist at the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU) Broadband Conference and Expo, to be held in Johnston, Iowa on April 9 – 11, 2024. The panel session, “Legal/Regulatory Issues for Utility Broadband,” will focus on the regulatory and policy issues for broadband deployment and services, particularly as they affect utilities. This session will feature a conversation among Iowa municipal broadband providers on their experiences with the latest round of retransmission consent negotiations and what this means for future rounds. Additionally, panelists will discuss recent federal policy developments and national trends impacting the ongoing viability of the current retransmission consent model in an ever-increasing broadband streaming environment.
