Partner Katie Bond to Present at 2023 NAPIM Technical Conference

Keller and Heckman Partner Katie Bond will present at the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers’ (NAPIM) Fall Technical Conference, to be held in Oak Brook, Illinois on September 12 – 14, 2023. Katie’s presentation, “Going Green: Exploring the Legal Landscape of Green Marketing,” will provide an overview of recent class actions and National Advertising Division (NAD) cases related to green marketing, as well as the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) ongoing review of its Green Guides. An exploration of cases and regulatory developments will touch on marketing claims from “compostable” to “carbon neutral,” “sustainable,” and “recyclable.” This presentation will also briefly review other hot topics to be aware of, such as the FTC’s new Endorsement Guides and its proposed rule on product reviews.
