Partner Eve Pelonis to Present at FDLI’s Food Advertising, Labeling, and Litigation Conference

Keller and Heckman Partner Eve Pelonis will present at the Food and Drug Law Institute’s (FDLI) Food Advertising, Labeling, and Litigation Conference: For the Food and Dietary Supplement Community. The conference will take place on September 28 – 29, 2022, in Washington, DC. Eve will serve as a moderator for the presentation, “Recent Class Actions Challenging Nutrient Content and Health Claims: Protein, Sugar, and More.” The session will cover settlements and pending cases involving alleged mislabeling of protein content and percentage daily value (%DV), as well as challenges to health-related claims due to added sugar content. Panelists will also review the different rules for making front-of-pack and back-of-pack claims.
