On March 15, the FCC is scheduled to adopt a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) regarding reconfiguration of the 900 MHz band (896-901-935-940 MHz). A draft of the NPRM indicates the FCC will propose to create a paired 3/3 MHz broadband segment in the band, while reserving two separate segments for narrowband operations. The FCC will be seeking comment on its proposals, including how to transition the band to a new expanded use.

This 45-minute complimentary webinar, hosted by Keller and Heckman Telecommunications Partners, will highlight key details in the NPRM that current licensees and potential new users will need to understand, as well as explain how to participate in the rulemaking process. The webinar will discuss how the band reconfiguration process might work, including important considerations for negotiating to relocate current facilities. In addition, the webinar will explain the potential future uses for the band as proposed in the NPRM.
