2024 Paper Packaging Law Seminar
Keller and Heckman is pleased to announce that our 8th Annual Paper Packaging Law Seminar will be held May 14 - 15, 2024, in Charlotte, NC. This comprehensive course will address food-contact regulatory issues relevant to paper producers, as well as their additive suppliers, converters, and downstream customers.
Program highlights include:
- The regulation of food-contact paper in the U.S., including the basics of FDA regulation and industry-specific topics
- An overview of the regulatory schemes applicable to food-contact paper in the EU, South America, China, and Japan
- Tips to assess incoming compliance statements and prepare outgoing customer assurance documents
- State legislation impacting food packaging, including PFAS bans and other efforts to restrict ‘chemicals of concern’
- A special focus on sustainability measures in California impacting fiber-based packaging, including AB 1200 (PFAS), SB 54 (EPR), and SB 343 and AB 1201 (environmental claims and labeling)
- Regulatory ripple effects from PFAS: EPA’s PFAS Reporting Rule, U.S. litigation trends, and upcoming EU REACH restrictions

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are accepted and registration fees are refunded, if notice is received by April 5, 2024. If notice is given after April 5th, no refunds will be granted; however, substitutions are welcome.
