We are seeking a talented junior level associate attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing Food and Drug regulatory practice in our Washington, D.C. Office. Work will include advising clients on food, food additive, food labeling, food packaging, and food safety matters, establishing appropriate regulatory status for various ingredients, and other FDA and USDA regulatory matters.
Strong academic credentials; excellent analytical, research, writing, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and the ability to assume immediate responsibility are required. Due to the technical nature of the practice, an undergraduate degree or some experience in a scientific field (biology, chemistry, mathematics, or engineering) will be helpful, but is not required.
A desire to learn, and an ability to manage multiple client priorities and take direction are critical. Successful associates will be given significant client responsibility early on, including direct client contact. The position requires collaboration across all firm offices on challenging and interesting work involving cutting-edge regulatory and health and safety issues while working in a collegial, team-based atmosphere.

We are seeking a Food Packaging, Environment (Chemicals), and Waste Associate to work in our Brussels, Belgium Office.
Requirements include excellent academic records with, preferably, a postgraduate degree in European Law, a qualified lawyer in the EU/UK, fluency and excellent writing skills in English, fluency or good working knowledge of another EU language, preferably in German, Spanish or Italian, scientific background or interest in science, and long term commitment.

Title: Food and Drug Chemist for our Washington, D.C. Office
We are seeking a Chemist for a non-laboratory position to work in our Washington, D.C. Office. This individual will work closely with our attorneys and other staff scientists to assess the regulatory status and health and safety considerations related to various products intended for use in food, drugs, medical devices, and related applications. Responsibilities include assisting in the advisement of steps that can be taken to attain appropriate regulatory status, including assisting in the preparation of submissions and dossiers to regulatory agencies in the United States (such as FDA, EPA, and OSHA) and their sister agencies throughout the world. This is not an intellectual property position.
The ideal candidate will be able to interpret complex analytical data and should have a strong proficiency in mathematics. Expertise in any area of non-theoretical chemistry will be considered, though 5+ years of experience in polymer, organic, or analytical chemistry is a positive. A background in the food, chemical, or packaging industry, and experience with FDA regulations, is a plus. Must be able to multi-task, work effectively with others, and write clearly. Graduate Degree in Chemistry is required; Ph.D. preferred but not required.

We are seeking an experienced scientist to work with an established and large client base to obtain approval of registrations for antimicrobial and agricultural pesticide products. This individual will work with attorneys and other scientists on pesticide and chemical regulation issues in our Washington, D.C. Office.
Must have effective communication skills in order to work as a team with others. This individual will assist in servicing a broad range of pesticide manufacturing and trade association clients and significant client contact is anticipated. Must be able to advocate science positions in front of regulatory agencies. Scientific background/degree, project management experience, and writing skills required. Experience interpreting and summarizing toxicology studies and determining registration strategies preferred. Environmental consulting experience a plus.
