Keller and Heckman Attorneys Author Article on Health Claim Substantiation in the EU

World Food Regulation Review's February 2011 Special Report, titled, "Should EFSA Apply the Same Requirements for Scientific Substantiation to all Health Claims Covered by the EU Regulation on Nutrition and Health Claims?" was written by Keller and Heckman LLP Partner Jean Savigny and Legal Consultant Maud Perrudin. In the article, Mr. Savigny and Ms. Perrudin discuss why the European Food Standards Authority's (EFSA) current practice of applying similar scientific criteria when evaluating Article 13.1, 13.5 and 14 health claims made under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 is not justified.
