Azim Chowdhury Speaks at the American Enterprise Institute's Panel on Sensible E-Cigarette Regulation


Azim Chowdhury spoke today at the American Enterprise Institute's panel on sensible e-cigarette regulation in Washington, DC. The panel convened a group of experts from various sectors to discuss ideas to encourage sensible, science-based regulations for e-vapor products as an alternative to smoking. The panel also discussed the implications of the Food and Drug Administration's current regulatory framework, and opportunities for regulatory, legal, and statutory reform. Azim specifically addressed the lawsuits challenging the Deeming Rule and the role that litigation can play in reforming the current regulatory regime.
